Why ScotNursing?

When you are unable to live independently at home without assistance, we may be able to offer a realistic alternative to nursing home care.

ScotHomeCare is the home care section of ScotNursing, which was established in 1987 to provide nurses, carers and homehelps.

We offer a Helpline available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, staffed by our team of registered nurses.  Immediate care is always available.

There for You

We offer a free advisory/ assessment visit form our Home care manager, to discuss and help with your requirements.  Our combined services of qualified nurses, carers and homehelps mean a flexible service that can be changed as the client’s needs or conditions alter.

The aim of providing care at home is to provide assistance in maintaining and independent lifestyle for elderly or disabled people, those who are long-term ill, or who have learning difficulties or mental illness.

Our services can enable people to return home from hospital and other accommodation as a realistic alternative to nursing-home or residential care.

Care is available in short visits (from 1 hour), through a full range to 24 hours a day giving total care or respite for carers.

Our flexible hours can fit in with other providers of care.

For care at night, we can offer our Night Sitting Service for overnight cover, or the Private Night Duty Service when constant care is required.

Both operate from 10pm - 8am, although hours can be tailored to client’s needs.
